Hope's Garden

Hope’s father collectes flower seeds from his own garden and gives them to Hope. With her father's guidance and with her patience and hard work, Hope transforms an old mud puddle into a garden more beautiful than she can imagine. When Hope grows up and has children of her own, she picks her garden’s strongest seeds for them. But Hope doesn’t stop there. She makes sure that all children can grow their own gardens. Now you can grow a garden just like Hope with the seeds at the end of this sweet and colorfully illustrated story.

Sarah Jane - Author

Sarah Jane’s inspiration for Hope’s Garden came from her desire that hope be nurtured within all children. Her will to positively affect children’s lives is apparent in her simple yet elegant storytelling style.

She writes fulltime while living in Northern California with her husband, John, and their two cats, Minnie and Ricochet. She strives to write stories that will positively affect and inspire children. Oftentimes she does this with Ricochet fast asleep across her desk.

Sarah Jane is a member of The Society of Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrators, the Bay Area Independent Publisher’s Association, and a charter member of Tri Valley Writer’s.

Angela Ferrigno - Illustrator

Angela Ferrigno has been passionate about art her entire life. She graduated in 2005 with a BFA in illustration. It was in college that her playful sense of color and animated storytelling found their perfect outlet in the children’s book genre. She resides in Connecticut with her husband, John, and their two kitties, Sammie and Squeaky. Hope’s Garden is her first published work.
